Colin Arey

Christy’s oldest son, Colin Arey, was last seen with his stepfather, David Appleby, on January 25th, 2017. At the time, Colin was an ed tech, having taken over his mother’s class when she passed. Colin was living with David at the time of his disappearance. According to David, he brought Colin to Brewer (or maybe Bangor, the story has changed numerous times) with all his belongings and dropped him off so that he could start a new job at Sears. The private investigator has found no proof that Colin ever left Bucksport. In fact, Sears has confirmed that he had not applied and was not starting a job there.

The chilling truth proves that in the last messages Colin sent to a friend, he was expressing his upset with David for forging a doctor’s signature on illegitimate vaccination records he had provided Colin to give to a prospective employer. His last comment was that David might be a “pedo.” Colin had no known plans to move out.
